AMICUS CURIAE BRIEF

To the U.S. Supreme Court in Cedar Point Nursery v. To the ILO Committee on Freedom of Association against the United States regarding failure of U.S. labor law to halt Starbucks’ violations of international labor standards (SEIU, AFL-CIO, Workers United, 2023).

To the ILO Committee on Freedom of Association against the United States regarding Trump administration’s response to COVID-19 in the workplace and related violations of Conventions 87 and 98 (AFL-CIO, SEIU, 2020).

To the ILO Committee on Freedom of Association against the United States regarding the U.S. Supreme Court decision in Hoffman Plastic Compounds denying effective remedies for undocumented immigrant workers fired for union activity in violation of the NLRA (AFL-CIO, 2002).

NORTH AMERICAN AGREEMENT ON LABOR COOPERATION (NAALC) SUBMISSIONS

To the Mexico Secretary of Labor against the United States for violations of migrant workers’ rights in the Washington State apple industry (Teamsters, United Farm Workers 1998).

To the U.S. Department of Labor against Mexico for workers’ rights violations in Ciudad Juárez factories of General Electric and Honeywell (United Electrical Workers, Teamsters union, 1994).

To the United States Trade Representative (USTR) against Chile for violations of workers’ rights under the military dictatorship of General Pinochet (United Electrical Workers, International Labor Rights Forum 1986).
